Our company is growing, and we are looking for an intern to support our senior team in the execution of our Marketing and Communications strategies for multiple brands, as well as production for different projects (both internal and for clients).  
The intern will have the unique opportunity to gain experience and perspective in different aspects and applications of the disciplines they have been studying so far.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor studies (HBO/WO) in or related to Marketing Communications, Journalism, PR, Arts & Culture Management.  

  • Availability for a minimum of 3 days a week for at least 6 months. Being available for at least 4 days is a plus. 

  • Full working proficiency in English, impeccable in writing, are must-haves. Being an English or Dutch native speaker is a plus.  

  • Command of the whole Microsoft Office package, including Excel and Power Point. 

  • Base in the Rotterdam area (work is in Schiedam)  



Tasks will include:

  • Creating research-based reports and organizing resources to support the creation of new products and projects.

  • Collaborating on both above-the-line and below-the-line content creation (visual and textual), ranging from pitch decks to social media posts, and more.

  • Helping distribute and monitor the performance of our content on the different channels.

  • Use a project-management tool to effectively manage tasks and coordinate with the team.

  • Project Management Support (support a sr. project manager in several PM-related tasks like meeting preparation, setting up plans, budgeting).

  • Administrative tasks (e.g.  travel arrangements, meeting coordination and minutes, coordination of timesheets, etc.)

  • Are eager to learn under guidance, but also able to work independently, show constructive initiative and critical thinking 

  • Are proactive and not afraid of asking questions  

  • Can think both big and small, practical and abstract, digital and analogue 

  • Are aware that even unicorns can double as work horses, in other words: you put the same enthusiasm and integrity in managing simple repetitive tasks as more creative and complex ones.  

  • Can think outside the box, but also believe that being creative does not prevent you from being well-organized, accurate, productive, and reliable  

  • Appreciate a well-written text, are allergic to typos and sloppy communication 

  • Have a proven interest in photography, videomaking, visual communications, art, design, digital creation, etc. 

  • Have some experience with the Adobe creative suite and/or other design software  

  • Are digitally smart and up to date about the latest technologies and communications trends 


Awesome to have:

  • Experience with the creation of digital content (especially on YouTube and Instagram), Community Management, managing Facebook Pages and Groups 

  • Experience with creating and running social media campaigns with Facebook Business Manager 

  • Experience with Wix or other CMS systems 

  • Awareness of SEO writing principles

  • Experience in event management or production

  • Interest in urban studies, architecture, and public art.
