Job description: Marketing Communications internship
We are looking for an intern to support our senior team in the execution of our Marketing and Communications strategies for multiple brands, as well as production for different projects (both internal and for clients).
The intern will have the unique opportunity to gain experience and perspective in different aspects and applications of the disciplines they have been studying so far.

We’re looking for someone with:

Bachelor studies (HBO/WO) in or related to (Digital) Marketing Communications, Journalism, PR.
-
Availability for a minimum of 3 days a week for at least 6 months. Being available for at least 4 days is a plus.

Full working proficiency in English, and impeccable writing, are must-haves. Being an English native speaker or English-Dutch bilingual is a plus.
-
Command of the whole Microsoft Office package, including Excel and PowerPoint.
-
Experience with Content Creation and Social Media Management is a big plus.

Advanced writing skills (especially for the web) combined with a good sense of visual communication and awareness of the main aspects of brand communication.

Base in the Rotterdam area (work is in Schiedam), willing to travel to (client) locations from time to time.
Tasks will include:
-
Creating research-based reports and organizing resources to support the creation of new communications deliverables and projects.

Collaborating on above-the-line and below-the-line content creation (visual and textual), ranging from pitch decks to social media posts.

Executing the Social Media Calendar, with the supervision of a Senior Creative Consultant.

Executing web content updates.
-
Helping distribute and monitor the performance of our content on different channels.

Using a Project Management tool to effectively manage tasks and coordinate with the team.

Appreciate a well-written text, are allergic to typos and sloppy communication

Have a proven interest in photography, video making, visual communications, art, design, digital creation, etc.

Have some experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and/or other design software

Are digitally smart and up to date about the latest technologies and communications trends.
Awesome to have:

Experience with the creation of digital content (especially on YouTube and Instagram), Community Management, managing Facebook Pages and Groups

Experience with creating and running social media ad campaigns with Facebook Business Manager

Experience with Wix or other CMS systems
-
Awareness of SEO writing principles
-
Experience in event management or production
-
Interest in urban studies, architecture, and arts and culture.
